Twixt meet - AVIEMORE - Friday 27 December 2024

The next overnight trip is the ‘Twixt meet’ between Christmas and New Year when you have the opportunity to burn off the Christmas calories.

Again we will be going to Aviemore from 27th-29th December (actually a true Weekend meet this year) and hopefully we will have some decent winter conditions, although there is plenty on offer in the area from gentle walks to demanding climbs. There are a good range of walks listed on WalkHighlands

All welcome - please make your own arrangements for accommodation (as soon as possible) but let the Meet Secretary know if you can come.

Our traditional second night meal is at the Winking Owl this year - booked for 7:30pm on the 28th. We need to confirm numbers and menu choices by the 15th December so please let us know if you're coming as soon as possible.

Probable Friday evening meet-up in La Taverna for a meal and to discuss the walks for the 28th.
